Second Annual Egbe Festival to Take Place February 2nd, 2019 at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park

Once again the sounds of the Djembe (Drum!!) will resonate throughout South Florida. Home to one of the largest Caribbean diaspora populations in North America and boasting of deep seeded roots in African Heritage, the Egbe Festival celebrates the African culture and entertainment.

On Saturday February 2nd, Spiritual Essences invite families and friends to the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park to enjoy, take part and discover Egbe Orisa tradional arts and culture through ethnic foods, live performances, afro-dancers, live drumming sessions, arts & crafts and much more. And in keeping with the tradition of "It takes a village to raise a child", the organisers welcome children of all ages to the "Egbe Children's Village"!

"It is through knowledge of culture and tradition we can stand as one #people, thus the reason for the Egbe Festival." - Ifawuyi Esuloju Eyioriwaase, Event Organizer.
