Holness states that while they wait for the  written judgement issued by the Supreme Court, the media suggests that the child's constitutional rights was not breached .

The government thinks there shouldn't be a law that denies access to a student from a institution because of hairstyles or religious reasons. Holness highly stated that he will ensure that every child is treated fairly in the Jamaican education system, and also stands firmly against discrimination of any students on any occasion.

Most people around the world are upset about this situation during this Covid-19 pandemic. Thus believe that schools shouldn't have a problem with hairstyles or other religious reasons, because that doesn't define the person and further more children shouldn't not be treated like this in our society. Many feel that was rather harsh of the Supreme Court to issue such a ruling . What's your thoughts? Please leave a comment below
